About MSEF
The Mississippi Science and Engineering Fairs (MSEF), started in 1964, is the state-level competition for the state of Mississippi science fairs and is hosted and coordinated by one of seven regional fair directors and their respective colleges, universities, and school districts. The regional directors make up the standing Board of Directors, who determine the state’s fair guidelines. MSEF and its regional fairs are affiliated with the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (ISEF) competition.
The Mississippi Science and Engineering Fair serves to promote the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics fields in K-12 education through academic competition and scientific research. MSEF provides a unique educational experience that not only promotes STEM across the state but also the nation as our students advance to the international competition – the Regeneron ISEF.
AFFILIATIONS
